Children’s Action Network
Children’s Action Network is dedicated to raising awareness about and finding homes for the more than 101,000 children in foster care in the U.S. who are waiting for an adoptive family and improving outcomes for the more than 400,000 children in foster care.

Founded in 1913, Hillsides, a Southern California foster care charity headquartered in Los Angeles, is dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities. One of its five core programs, Bienvenidos Foster Care and Adoptions, provides home-based family care (formerly known as foster care) to help children and youth heal from the effects of trauma. Included in the home-based care are treatment and adoption services for children and youth, ranging from newborn to 21 years old. The program serves Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
