Jasmine uses a few of her many artistic talents: writer, poet, painter and dancer; to tell the story of her childhood trauma and how she began to heal her PTSD. In this moving piece, she vows to be the best she can be. Jasmine’s film is part of the Youth Voices Video Project, a collection of foster youth-produced films from PBS SoCal’s To Foster Change.
PTSD has played a big part in Jasmine’s life. She has been using art as a form of therapy for the last 10 years, and is now excited to express her experience with film.
